E3 Notre Dame - Freeze and Infinite Loading Fix

This is a compatibility and data repair for "E3 Notre Dame To Perform Spinning Controlled Descent" by wajajan697.

The original mod restores the Notre Dame layout shown in the Assassin's Creed Unity E3 showcase, allowing the player to perform the large controlled descent from the front of Notre Dame.

Some of the modified .data files in the original release are incomplete. This can cause several problems:

- The game may freeze when approaching Notre Dame.

- The world may stop while the camera can still move.

- Fast travelling to Notre Dame may cause an infinite black loading screen.

- In some cases, the game may become stuck during loading.

This version repairs the affected data containers while preserving the recoverable E3 layout changes.

Compatibility

- Assassin's Creed Unity 1. 5. 0 & 1. 5. 1

Installation

1. Make a backup of DataPC_ACU_Paris.forge.

2. Use AnvilToolkit to unpack DataPC_ACU_Paris.forge.

3. Replace the 8 matching .data files with the files included in this mod.

4. Repack DataPC_ACU_Paris.forge.

5. Start the game and test Notre Dame.

Technical Information

The affected modified data containers were incomplete/truncated. This caused the game to hang when the Notre Dame world cells were streamed.

The repaired version restores the missing original data while keeping the recoverable position and rotation changes used by the E3 Notre Dame layout.
