Welcome to my Reshade preset for Assassin's Creed Shadows

This preset is designed to make the game's colors look more natural and realistic

Important note: The game has fairly pronounced sharpening, so you can combine my preset with mods designed to reduce the intensity of the sharpening or improve the textures

Added New Preset "Shadows Realism"

This preset makes the color palette in Assassin's Creed Shadows more realistic and also adjusts the brightness and contrast.

Added New Preset "RoninShadows Realism"

This preset adds a black-and-white effect to Assassin's Creed Shadows.

The brightness and contrast have been adjusted.

How to install and configure Reshade:

To install Reshade, go to the official website and click “Download Reshade 6. 8. 0.”

Once you've done that, select a game, locate the .exe file, and then click Next.

Reshade usually detects the game's API automatically; just click Next.

Once that’s done, Click Uncheck All and Check All to enable all effects Automatically.

Next, click “Finish” and go to Steam > Properties > Installed Files > Browse. Once in the folder, where the game’s executable file is located—to find the Reshade.ini file.

Edit this file in Notepad and, under

GamepadNavigation=0

KeyOverlay=36,0,0,0

replace 36 with 114, then click File > Save or press Ctrl + S. This will replace the Home key with the F3 key

Once that’s done, drag the ini file from my Reshade preset into the game’s folder, where the game’s executable file is located.

You can now open the game, press F3 to skip the tutorial, and then, once in the Reshade interface, click to the left of the folder icon and select “Shadows Realism.ini” or "RoninShadows Realism.ini"

Ubisoft User:

The drive letter must match the location where you installed your game. For example, if your game is installed on drive B, the installation path will be "B:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Assassin's Creed Shadows"

To get the most out of the graphics and presets, I recommend playing on “High” or “Ultra” settings.

For users of high-end PCs, feel free to also enable ray tracing as well as AMD or NVIDIA technologies.

As mentioned above, the game has fairly pronounced sharpening; unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about that.

However, you can adjust the Reshade effects to your liking to soften the sharpening or use graphics mods.
