Naval Combat Overhaul

A complete overhaul of ship combat, making it much more difficult and engaging. Now, combat is rebalanced to be more realistic and much harder, so you will need to strategize carefully in order to win conflicts, especially with higher level ships. Frigates are no longer the deadliest ships in the Caribbean, Men Of War won't fire four mortars at once but their firepower is greatly increased to make them the forces of destruction they truly are, and all ships react much more quickly and are much more aggressive.

Changes

• []Ships fire almost immediately after taking aim.[/]

  []Brigs ram much more often.[/]

  []Frigates no longer fire multiple consecutive broadsides like machine guns. Instead, they fire two volleys in one broadside (as they have two floors of cannons).[/]

  []Men Of War fire three volleys in one broadside (as they have three floors of cannons), making them the deadliest ships in the game.[/]

  []Men Of War only fire 1-2 mortars.[/]

  []Frigates have 2x as much cargo.[/]

  []Men Of War have 3x as much cargo.[/]

  []Frigates have more health.[/]

  []Men Of War have much more health.[/]

  []Naval Convoys have more money.[/]

  []Royal Convoys have much more money, with max level ones almost having as much as Legendary Ships.[/]

  []Ships usually don't give crew members when captured.[/]

  []Pirate Hunter ships do not carry Rum or Sugar. Instead, they only carry crafting materials (Metal, Wood, Cloth).[/]

  []Ships only carry ammo types they use (i.e. only MOW carry Mortar Shot), but all ships carry ammo.[/]

-Unpack "DataPC.forge".

-Unpack "Game Bootstrap Settings.data".

-Drag all 70 files in the mod zip into the Extracted folder for Game Bootstrap Settings.

-Ensure that all files overwrite. If a file is copied over but doesn't overwrite, you will have a duplicate file which will crash the game.

-Repack "Game Bootstrap Settings.data".

-Repack "DataPC.forge".
