French Ships in Freeroam

The very first mod for Assassin's Creed Black Flag to add an entirely new faction into the game. This mod adds the French faction into the game without replacing any existing factions (British, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.). They can be found in the regions of Navassa and Punta Guarico and will attack the ships of other factions. Max level ships can be found in Navassa, while lower levels can be found in Punta Guarico. French ships can also be encountered in the Naval Contract "Blind Justice", where a level 60 French Man Of War will be encountered.

This mod has a patch for Portuguese Ships in Open World if you want to have Portuguese ships in the Caribbean Sea alongside the French. Install this mod with the latest version of AnvilToolkit (1. 3. 5 or newer.)

Installation Instructions (read carefully)

• []Unpack "DataPC.forge", "DataPC_extra_chr.forge", "DataPC_CaribbeanSea.forge", "DataPC_extra.forge" and "DataPC_patch.forge". In the Extracted folder for "DataPC.forge", also unpack "Game Bootstrap Settings.data".[/]

  []In the Extracted folder for "DataPC_extra_chr.forge", drag all files in the mod zip folder "DataPC_extra_chr_1" into it, then repack. These files are entirely new so they shouldn't overwrite.[/]

  []In the Extracted folder for "DataPC_patch.forge", drag the file in the mod zip folder "DataPC_patch_1" into it, then repack. This file is entirely new so it shouldn't overwrite.[/]

  []In the Extracted folder for "DataPC_CaribbeanSea.forge", drag all files in the mod zip folder "DataPC_CaribbeanSea_1" into it, then repack. Ensure that all of these files overwrite. If they don't, delete their unmodded counterparts in the Extracted folder in order to prevent duplicate files.[/]

  []In the Extracted folder for "DataPC_extra.forge", drag the file in the mod zip folder "DataPC_extra_1" into it, then repack. This file is entirely new so it shouldn't overwrite.[/]

  []In the Extracted folder for "Game Bootstrap Settings.data", drag all files in the mod zip folder "Game Bootstrap Settings 1" into it. Ensure that all of these files overwrite. If they don't, delete their unmodded counterparts in the Extracted folder in order to prevent duplicate files. Lastly, drag all files in the mod zip folder "Game Bootstrap Settings 2" into it, then repack. These files are entirely new so they shouldn't overwrite.[/]
