📋 About This Mod
INTRO
This mod is an updated Resorep-less version of Edward Kenway's Default Dark Robes texture mod made by NicoCintra. Obrigado! Now it can be used properly with Pirate Cloak outfit, like it was meant to be, and since I modded the textures inside the game's files, there is no need to use Resorp now. Also, there are 3 new extras known symbols and one without any symbol for the Pirate Cloak outfit made by Axius Victor (me). Backups and PNG's of the symbols are available in Optional Files tab.
Unfortunately, the Pirate Cloak is not a full standalone outfit, such as Pirate Captain outfit. The robe in the Pirate Cloak outfit uses the same textures of Edward's Default Robe to work. If you want to mod Pirate Cloak's robe texture, you have to mod Edward's Default Robe. So it means, for now, you will have to choose between using Edward's Default Robe color or the one from this. You can't have both at the same time, unfortunately. Also, if you want to mod the cloak itself, good luck with that. I could not find it's TextureMap anywhere.
Blame AC 4's lazy devs. They could have a added an unique dark robe for the Pirate Cloak outfit, but instead, they gave us this so they could save like 5 minutes of work and 5 megabytes of space. Also, the skull texture of the cloak is not even a full skull, instead, it's a half skull which one side is used for the other, and it is also inverted. Unbelievable.
