🎮 ASKA UI — The Ultimate Mod Hub for ASKA

📖 Overview

ASKA UI is a unified mod management hub that brings all of your BepInEx mods together in one sleek, professional interface. Press HOME (or your own custom keybind) to open a full-screen overlay from anywhere in-game — no pausing, no menu diving, no juggling ten different config files. Everything you need is in one place, live, in real time.

Whether you're a player looking to squeeze every last frame out of ASKA or a modder wanting a clean, standardized settings panel for your own mods, ASKA UI has you covered.

🚀 FPS Boost

One-click performance optimization that targets the expensive HDRP rendering features dragging your frame rate down.

What it does:

  • []🔇 Disables SSAO (Screen-Space Ambient Occlusion)[/]

[]🌫️ Disables Volumetrics and Volumetric Clouds[/]

    []🔆 Disables Subsurface Scattering (skin/light transparency effects)[/]

[]🧱 Disables Decals and Decal Layers[/]

    []🌀 Disables Distortion effects[/]

    []💡 Disables Screen-Space Lens Flare and Data-Driven Lens Flare[/]

[]🌑 Disables Shadow Mask and Light Layers[/]

[]🎨 Disables Custom Pass and Variable Rate Shading[/]

    []🎥 Disables Motion Vectors[/]

[]🕳️ Disables Terrain Holes and High-Quality Line Rendering[/]

[]🪟 Disables Transparent Backface, Prepass, and Postpass[/]

[]⚡ Uncaps the frame rate — sets

    Application.targetFrameRate = -1[/]

[]🌑 Reduces Shadow Distance to 80[/]

[]📐 Lowers LOD Bias to 0. 7 and Max LOD Level to 1[/]

[]💡 Caps Pixel Lights at 2[/]

    []🖥️ Turns VSync OFF[/]

How it works:

FPS Boost uses direct HDRP API calls (

HDRenderPipelineAsset and

QualitySettings.renderPipeline) — no reflection, no workarounds, no guessing. It reads the current render pipeline settings, disables the heavy features, and writes the modified settings back instantly. It re-applies on a configurable interval (2–60 seconds, default 10s) in case the game resets its pipeline during gameplay.

You're in control:

  • []Toggle it ON/OFF from the Performance Monitor tab[/]

[]Adjust the Reapply Interval to balance reliability vs overhead[/]

[]All changes are logged to the in-memory FPS Boost log so you can see exactly what was applied[/]

⚠️ Note: Disabling some of these features will reduce visual quality. This is designed for players who want maximum FPS over maximum visuals. You can always toggle it off to restore the original look.

📊 Performance Monitor

A full-featured, real-time diagnostics suite that shows you exactly what's happening with your PC, your frame rate, and every mod running in ASKA.

🖥️ PC Performance

Live system stats updated every frame:

  • []FPS — real-time frames per second with color coding (🟢 green ≥ 55, 🟡 yellow ≥ 30, 🔴 red < 30)[/]

[]Frame Avg / Min / Max — millisecond breakdowns so you can see your worst-case stutters[/]

[]Managed Memory — how much . NET memory your mods are using[/]

    []Unity Allocated / Reserved — engine-level memory tracking[/]

[]CPU Usage — live CPU utilization percentage[/]

[]RAM Used / Total — system memory with a live readout[/]

[]GPU Usage — live GPU utilization (NVIDIA NVML supported)[/]

    []GPU Temperature — real-time GPU temp with °C/°F toggle[/]

[]VRAM Used / Total — video memory tracking[/]

📈 Real-Time Frame Graph

A live scrolling bar chart showing the last 180 frames (~3 seconds at 60fps, ~1. 5 seconds at 120fps):

  • []🟢 Green — frame time under 16. 7ms (60fps or better)[/]

    []🟡 Yellow — frame time between 16. 7ms and your spike threshold[/]

[]🔴 Red — frame time at or above your spike threshold (default 20ms)[/]

[]📏 Reference line at 16. 7ms so you can instantly see if you're hitting 60fps[/]

[]Adjustable Spike Threshold slider (8. 3ms–100ms)[/]

🎯 Gameplay CPU Profiler

Optional, off by default — has its own small overhead when enabled.

Times every mod's Harmony-patched methods and Update/FixedUpdate/LateUpdate calls to show the real per-mod CPU cost during actual gameplay — not just while the hub is open. This is the profiler you need to find which mod is causing your stutters.

[*]Shows average ms/frame and pe
