Rotate your walls to exactly the angle you want - snap in clean 15, 45, or 90 degree steps.

Overview

ASKA's built-in building rotation (Q/E) is smooth and free-spinning, which makes it hard to line pieces up at a precise angle. Aska Precision Building adds dedicated snap-rotation keys: one tap rotates the building preview by a fixed step, so walls and structures line up perfectly every time.

Your normal Q/E rotation is left completely untouched - use free-spin or snap, whichever suits the moment. You can even mix them.

  Default Controls

  • []Left Arrow - rotate one step counter-clockwise[/]

    Requirements

    • []BepInEx IL2CPP pack for ASKA - this must be installed first. If your ASKA folder has no BepInEx folder, install BepInEx before this mod, or the mod will not load.[/]

      Installation (manual)

      • []Make sure BepInEx IL2CPP is installed for ASKA.[/]

        []Download the zip from the Files tab.[/]

        []Extract it into your ASKA game folder (the one containing ASKA.exe), keeping the folder structure.[/]

        []The plugin should end up at: ASKA\BepInEx\plugins\AskaPrecisionBuilding\AskaPrecisionBuilding.dll[/]

        []Launch the game and enter build mode.[/]

      Configuration

      After running the game once, settings are written to BepInEx\config\AskaPrecisionBuilding.cfg:

      • []Keybinds - rebind Snap Rotate Left / Right and Cycle Snap Angle to any key.[/]

        []StartSnapAngle - which step is active at startup (15 / 45 / 90).[/]

        []ShowIndicator - toggle the on-screen readout.[/]

        Current Scope

        Snap rotation currently applies to walls and structures that snap onto other buildings, plus grid placement. Some standalone building types use different placement systems and are not covered yet - support may expand in future updates.

        Uninstall

        Delete the folder ASKA\BepInEx\plugins\AskaPrecisionBuilding.

        Compatibility

        Works alongside other BepInEx plugins. Does not modify save files. It only changes your local building preview, so it does not alter existing builds.
