Recommended manual layout:
BepInEx/plugins/AskaExpandedParty/AskaExpandedParty.dll

BepInEx/plugins/AskaExpandedParty.dll
Configuration
The config file is generated after the first launch with the mod installed:
BepInEx/config/com.community.askaexpandedparty.cfg
Default config:
Enabled = true
PartyCapacity = 6
DebugLogging = false
ScalePartyWidget = true
TwoColumnLeftShift = 230
-
[]Enabled (default true) — Enables or disables the expanded party capacity patches.[/]
[]PartyCapacity (default 6) — Maximum NPC villagers in the player party. Vanilla is 3. Range: 3 to 20.[/]
[]DebugLogging (default false) — Writes extra diagnostics to BepInEx/LogOutput.log. Enable only while troubleshooting.[/]
[]ScalePartyWidget (default true) — Scales and repositions the party HUD when more than 3 members are in the party. At 11 or more members the HUD switches to a two-column layout with the second column forming to the left of the first.[/]
[]TwoColumnLeftShift (default 230) — Pixels to shift the party HUD container left when two-column mode activates (party > 10). Range: 0 to 600. Default 230 pulls the right-edge widget toward screen center so the second column (left of the first) is fully visible. Reduce toward 0 if the widget sits too far from the right edge; increase up to 600 if the second column still clips.[/]
Recommended Settings and Limitations
The recommended starting capacity is 6. Values above that may work, but ASKA was designed around a party size of 3.
Large parties may affect:
-
[]AI behavior[/]
[]pathfinding[/]
[]combat targeting[/]
[]following/formation behavior[/]
[]settlement interactions[/]
[]HUD layout[/]
[]performance[/]
[]multiplayer consistency[/]
If you experience strange behavior, reduce PartyCapacity and dismiss extra villagers until the active party size is at or below the new value.
Save Compatibility and Uninstalling
This mod does not add custom save data, so saves remain normal ASKA saves. However, a save with more than 3 active party members is outside vanilla's expected party size.
If you load an oversized party save without this mod, vanilla behavior is undefined. Possible
