📋 About This Mod
New version
Please extract to an EMPTY folder. Do not extract to previous version of ModTool. Make sure NOT to use old asseteditor.ini file.
You may copy over your new_mods and modgraphics folders, but some mods, like shipyard settings, won't work, you'll have to re-create them.
I fixed a lot of bugs and I think it's much more stable now.
New in this version:
• cache system, speed up start after first run
• improved Population, Needs and Happiness editor
• Docklands and traders
• research editor
• Integrated Bonus-Mods (can be disabled)
• fresh design for import dialogs
• HTML-based help system (German only at this time)
• graphic overhaul
English html help files are in ./html/eng folder! I translated (very) few of them using G*gle translate, but gave up on it. If someone feels like doing the translation work, I'd be happy.
I strongly* recommend installing ModTool on SSD, should give a extra boost in speed.
If you run into problems starting ModTool, try again with no mods in your Anno mod folder, it probably got stuck importing, then.
Also, delete the .\temp folder after failed startup, just to make sure cached junk gets deleted.
