Gymnasium School

Wonder how exactly kids in Anno1800 go from elementary schooling directly to university?

While the primary school > apprenticeship/private tutorage > university route was relatively realistic for the early 1800s, a secondary schooling system had developed in the latter half of the 19th century in most countries, often housed in large, monumental buildings—conspicuously missing in Anno 1800.

As such, this mod adds a grand new investor-tier building called the Gymnasium School. This type of school, equivalent to the high school, academy, lyceum, grammar school, or preparatory school in other countries is fairly commonplace throughout Central Europe.

While the building itself still supplies the basic schooling need in Anno, the range is significantly larger (as is the cost), and should be considered a reward for reaching the Investor tier.

On top of that, this building is also available for the New World as well, with the Obrero population now demanding the school as a top-end luxury need. After all, these obreros do need education in order to secure their freedom!

GU16 Update: Thanks Jakob, Hier0nimus, Hackner, and shane868 for updating these mods due to my busy schedule! This update includes new translations and visual variations as well.

This building contains all necessary LODs and texture sizes for the best performance on your computer!

Thanks to Taubenangriff for some of the trouble-shooting regarding camera fading, and for 2nah for the playtesting.
