Battle of Normandy, 1944 B

With Allied Airborne operations in full swing, it was time for the main thrust of Operation Overlord to take place. At aproximately 06:30, tens of thousands of Allied troops hit the beaches of Normandy. The Germans, believing the Allies would land near Calais, were spread thin in the area - and refused to believe the Normandy landings were the real deal until it was far too late. Therefore, many of their armoured reserves remained unused in the battle until days later. In this scenario, you play as a German soldier defending the Atlantic Wall against a determined Allied assault.
