They have 100% medicine tolerance, but give as much as the theoretical max their base version can offer at T12. For instance, Trimerous Essence Pill gives 298 Max Qi on the first use, and using 4 gives 1151. 89 Max Qi with 99. 99% tolerance. The + version will give you 1150 Max Qi, with 100% tolerance. All the values are rounded (usually up) for the sake of convenience.
