Hidden Cache Locator

Hidden Cache Locator makes hidden caches easier to find in Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Choose the version that suits you:

Outline and Audio: Amber cache outline surfaces and brighter nearby lighting, plus an extended-range positional hum.

Outline Only: Amber cache outline with alien shader and brighter nearby lighting. Cache audio is unchanged.

Audio Only: Extended-range positional hum. Cache appearance is unchanged.

The audio options use a continuous mechanical hum, not a periodic beep. The hum follows the cache's existing state-based start/stop behavior.

Adds a through wall outline same as in the aliens.

Targets the standard, C5, and PHV hidden-cache blueprints. Opening logic, rewards, interaction distances, and save files are unchanged.

INSTALLATION

1. Close the game.

2. Download ONE version and extract its ZIP.

3. Paste zz_CacheLocator_P.pak into the game's Endeavor/Content/Paks/~mods folder. Create the ~mods folder if it does not exist.

4. Start the game.

Each ZIP contains only the .pak. No additional mod loader is required.

SWITCHING VERSIONS OR UPDATING

Close the game and paste the new version's zz_CacheLocator_P.pak into the same ~mods folder, replacing the existing file. All three versions deliberately use the same filename. Install only one version; do not rename the files to stack them. Choose Glow and Audio if you want both features.

UNINSTALLATION

Close the game and remove zz_CacheLocator_P.pak from the ~mods folder.
