Battery Powered Motion Tracker

In the vanilla game, the motion tracker never runs out of power. This mod fixes that by making the battery drain, adding more tension and survival horror.

There are two mod versions to choose from:

Self-Recharging Motion Tracker

Holding up the tracker consumes battery power. If the battery completely dies, the device shuts down and requires a 5-minute recharge window during which it is entirely unusable. A new indicator has been added to the display to show battery levels and charging status.

Installation

Emergency Booth Rechargeable Motion Tracker

Using the tracker drains its battery. If it completely dies, it can only be recharged at an emergency booth station. A new indicator has been added to the display to show battery levels and remind players to recharge at an emergency booth.

This update removes the save-overwrite prompt when using emergency phone save stations. It also removes the automatic motion tracker beeps that play even when the device isn't equipped.

  []Place both d3d11.dll and MTRechargeEmerBooth.asi into the Alien: Isolation game folder. [/]

  In both versions, the battery level resets upon reloading a checkpoint or transitioning to a new level.
