Alien Isolation UI Exclusion Reshade

This ReShade preset excludes important UI elements from being affected by ReShade effects that utilize depth (such as depth of field and ambient occlusion).

INSTALLATION:

• []Extract the mod folder and replace all of these files in these locations:

  UIDetect.fxh: ...\STEAM\steamapps\common\Alien Isolation\reshade-shaders\Shaders\brussell

  UIDetectMaskRGB.png: ...\STEAM\steamapps\common\Alien Isolation\reshade-shaders\Textures

  UI. PAK: ...\STEAM\steamapps\common\Alien Isolation\DATA

  []In the ReShade menu in-game, follow this order of effects:

  1. UIDetect (must be the very first effect)

  2. UIDetect_Before

  3. other effects you want to exclude from the UI

  4. UIDetect_After[]DONE!

  NOTE:

  • []You may create your own version of the UIDetectMaskRGB.png to include other HUD elements you want to retain. Simply follow the directions included in the UIDetect.fxh file.

  • This preset requires the modded UI. PAK because it has the opaque health icon, which is needed by UIDetect.
