Money in, yeast powder out. Although yeast is listed as an intermediate, not a good to sell, it appears often in the requests. That's why I had to build a separate yeast factory. Starting up: 1) Put some sage leaves into the small green box. 2) Start the furnace with some inital planks. Please note that I go for the achievements "architect" (don't buy any land) and "don't bother me" (no shop, requests only). My factories are small, employ the least expensive recipe, recycle as much as possible and try to avoid expensive raw materials on long belts. They are slow and it may take several hours until the factory starts churning out products.
