U.S. Coast Guard Fighter Series

In an alternate universe, seaborne piracy and smuggling in U. S. Territorial Waters and other U. S. controlled waterways has been bolstered by outlaw PMC's. The United States Coast Guard, being ill-equipped for the growing threat, was given a major boost in funding by the Pentagon, and thus started a fighter procurement program to combat the increasingly well armed pirates. Over the mid 2000's up until the present day, the USCG has acquired several different fighter aircraft, starting with the US Navy's old, retired F-14A and F-14D Tomcats, and more recently acquiring F-35C's, and reproductions of the Dassault Rafale M and Sukhoi Su-33. The lore for each aircraft is in a txt file called "Lore.txt" which you can find in the mod zip if you are interested.

This mod is a pack of United States Coast Guard themed liveries for several naval aircraft in Ace Combat 7, the F-14A and F-14D, F/A-18E and F (incl. TG:M and Block III), F-35C, Su-33 and Rafale M.

To be honest, this originally started as an attempt to annoy F-14 and/or US Navy fanboys, but now the pack covers 8 aircraft. Don't ask me how that happened because I don't know either.

!!! INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS !!!

The mod contains four types of files:

Textures - The paks that have Textures in the name are the shared textures for that aircraft, so they are required to be installed if you are using that plane, otherwise the aircraft textures will break if you install any of the instances.

SkinX - X Denoting the slot number, these paks only contain a material instance, not the textures themselves. Please install the textures paks

Su33_Americanised and Rafale_M_Americanised - Two optional addons that change the missiles of the Su-33 and Rafale M to use the American models (AIM-9, AIM-120 etc.). These addons do not modify the loadouts, only the missile models, and therefore will cause no issues in multiplayer, as American missiles behave the same as their Russian/French counterparts. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about.

USCG_EML - An optional USCG skin for the F/A-18F and Su-33 EML, because why not. Not required but it does look pretty cool.

How to install:

> Make sure you have a ~mods folder inside steamapps/common/ACE COMBAT 7/Game/Content/Paks/

> Figure out what aircraft you want to use with the USCG liveries, and install the "Textures" paks for each aircraft to your

~mods folder

> Figure out what skin slots you want to use on the aircraft, and install the "Skin" paks of your choosing. If you have not

installed the "Texures" paks, the aircraft will look broken on those skin slots.
