Su-57 -Storm SR-

AWACS Sky Eye, this is the aircraft carrier Admiral Andersen. I'm placing the Storm Squadron under your command. They'll assist in intercepting the enemy forces.

Formed in late December 2019, the 142nd Interceptor Squadron "Storm" is an emergency response unit for the IUN-PKF's 118th Tactical Fighter Wing, stationed aboard the refloated OFS Admiral Andersen and launching ahead of standard IUN forces to counter immediate threats and establish control over contested airspace.

The IUN-PKF placed a request for the CFA-44, deemed to be the ideal aircraft for high-speed carrier-based operations, but at present Albastru-Eletrice has not deemed the aircraft suitable for export beyond Anea. As such, Storm Squadron currently uses Su-57 stealth fighters modified by the Erusean Air and Space Administration for high-speed flight and maneuvering at the request of the IUN-PKF.

Storm Squadron originates from Bandai Namco's 2013/2014 arcade game Mach Storm, made almost entirely of assets from seventh-generation Ace Combat games, in which the player is Storm 1, piloting a CFA-44 stationed aboard CVN-30 Nicholas A. Andersen and launching to various real-world cities to destroy aircraft attacking said cities, including an Aigaion-class heavy command cruiser.

This is an adaptation of Storm Squadron as part of what I call the Strangerealization series.

The emblem used here is of my own design, using the S from the Mach Storm logo and elements from Ace Combat Infinity squadron roundels.

Two options are included to replace all slots:

• []Storm 1 Crest features custom colors and the aircraft number for Crest, Storm Squadron's flight lead.

  []Storm Squadron features Storm 2's number and the color and markings for Storm Squadron's aircraft.

  An additional variant lacking the pilot number is included to replace NPC Erusean Su-57s.[]StormSquadron.png is the Storm Squadron emblem.  Feel free to use it in your own creations - all I ask is that I be credited as its creator.

  How to install:
  • []Access the Ace Combat 7 installation folder, most likely part of Steam's folders.

    []Make a folder marked "~mods" in Game/Content/Paks. If you already have this folder, skip this step.

    []Copy or cut and paste your choice of .pak into the folder.

  • Launch Ace Combat 7 - the skin should now be usable, assuming you've unlocked its corresponding slot.
