Operation Clubhouse (DDLC x Ace Combat 7) - Doki Two (FA-18F)

Lieutenant Sayori Sasaki is the second-in-command of Doki Squadron: an IUN coalition of Anean, Verusan, Osean, and Usean pilots dedicated to ensuring peace throughout Strangereal.

Lieutenant Sasaki was a young Selatapuran cadet under the Independent State Allied Forces when the organisation was disbanded and replaced by an IUN coalition in 2014; she would assist in suppressing the Free Erusea uprising that same year, being promoted her current rank for her valiant actions.  Unfortunately, she struggled with the unexpected transition between ISAF and the IUN and ended up transferring between squadrons throughout Usea; she would later be reassigned to Emmeria, where she would meet Captain Monika Riegel and become one of the first two members of Doki Squadron.

The young lieutenant is also known for her tacname “Cookie”, after an incident in her old flight academy where a boot camp instructor made the fatal mistake of confiscating her stash of sugary snacks—it is now an unspoken rule for any airbase that she is assigned to that a steady supply of cookies be made available for her at all times.  Just as notable as her love for snacks is her skill in the air, where she displays a surprising amount of maturity and ability to assume command in times of emergency—command of her own squadron has been offered several times, but the lieutenant has repeatedly stated her preference to be under Captain Riegel’s leadership and in the presence of her friends.

Lieutenant Sasaki’s co-pilot is a young mechanic by the name of Robin Kuo, a mercenary and Colonel Kuo’s younger sister—nominally employed by a local Usean PMC, her brother arranged for her to be temporarily reassigned to Doki Squadron as a WSO during the Lighthouse War after her regular co-pilot and partner was temporarily hospitalised in the aftermath of a flight-related accident.  Robin’s background as a fellow former ISAF cadet and Sasaki’s childhood friend has helped her establish rapport with the rest of the squadron, often to a greater extent than with her regular team.

The pak file uses the F/A-18F Slot 1.
