F-15S-MTD - F-15C - Wings of Strider -

his mod is meant to visually portray Strider as a recognizable ace squadron.

Includes 4 liveries for F-15S/MTD and F-15C featuring Strider Squadron members Trigger, Count, Jaeger and Huxian in eye-catching colors and custom-made emblems meant to mimic Trigger’s emblem by referencing their respective pilots and their callsigns. Includes a separate file for Strider NPC planes to use their respective skin. Unfortunately, the NPC skins do not show up at the "Unexpected Visitor" intro cutscene since as I found out, the game uses separate single texture for all 3 planes.

Both planes use the same skin slots:

Skin 6 - Trigger

Skin 7 - Count

Skin 8 - Huxian

Skin 9 - Jaeger

No-Markings Versions use the following skin slots:

Orange Wing (Trigger) and Jungle Wing (Count) - Skin 1

Indigo Wing (Jaeger) and Crimson Wing (Huxian) - Skin 3

You can only use 1 of each pair at a time. I made that choice because the game only allows the first 3 skin slots to support the "Emblem" function, so no room for the 4th skin unfortunately.

All files but one  in the Download section are for Player aircraft packed in different variations so that you can use the specific skins you want and use them alongside other skin mods of your preference.

To install the skins for the NPC Strider squadron members, download "For NPC Only - Strider 2-3-4 skins" in the "Optional Files" section at the very bottom.

Here’s a little trivia about the emblem designs if you’re interested:

Count’s emblem is his signature top-hat that’s been remodeled a little and is now worn by a dragon holding an expensive-looking walking cane.

Huxian’s a fox holding a bone. This one I made first when I was just getting the idea I wanted for the emblems so it’s resembles Trigger’s emblem the most. Represents her callsign meaning and her mentioning the exprerience growing up.

Jaeger’s a jaeger, well, an arctic skua a.k.a. parasitic jaeger to be precise. The bird holds a typewriter ribbon meant to reference his remarks about telling the stories of his sorties to his son in a form of writing (or typing) them down.
