CFA-44 - GDI -

If you're a 1990s kid like I am, there's a high chance you might have come across Command & Conquer back in the day. One of the defining classics of the real-time strategy genre that barely exists today, its refined and complex, very tactical gameplay, faster than sometimes snail-pace Age of Empires but much less chaotic and more manageable than what I consider the extremely convulse gameplay of StarCraft, Command & Conquer was a mainstay of my childhood, especially Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge and Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath. Accessible, fun, and very moddable, I still have countless hours of fun playing these games to this day. For the QFA-308 Volkihar mod uploaded during October of 2025, and as a homage of sorts, a full roster of C&C-themed skins was prepared for upload, yet after a long phase of reformulating the mod's size and the repetitive character of some of its skins, only three - the Soviet Union, the Empire of the Rising Sun and the CABAL ones - made the final cut, leaving all the others forgotten in a folder on my computer's drive. Now that I'm on my way to retirement and checking which good assets could be recycled and repurposed, I decided to share this set of GDI skins with the community, this time adapted for the popular CFA-44 Nosferatu on which the QFA-308 Volkihar was based upon.

This skin pack contains a total of seven skins, replacing all the skin slots except for Skin 2 (Erusea), and based upon the design of the Supersonic Fighter that was originally included with Kane's Wrath. Skin 1 (Osea) contains a blank skin customizable with the in-game emblems, while Skins 4, 5 and 6 are Trigger skins featuring custom-made Trigger markings and Osean colors inspired on the GDI design that differ from the regular Trigger markings found in the vanilla CFA-44 as well as other Nosferatu skin mods. Meanwhile, Skins 3, 7 and 8 are entirely C&C-themed and they represent the colors and markings of the mainline GDI, the Steel Talons, and the Zone Operations Command (ZOCOM) subfactions from Kane's Wrath, respectively. With this mod you'll add plenty of colorful options to use the CFA-44 Nosferatu in Ace Combat 7.

To install, unzip the provided . 7z and place the files on your directory. Vortex users can use the Nexus button or drag the content into their mod manager.
