Operation Clubhouse (DDLC x Ace Combat 7) - Doki Four (Su-57)

Second Lieutenant Yuri Kuroyanagi is the fourth member of Doki Squadron: an IUN coalition of Anean, Verusan, Osean, and Usean pilots dedicated to ensuring peace throughout Strangereal.

Kuroyanagi joined the Yuktobanian Air Force following the Circum-Pacific War, being assigned to the 172nd Fighter-Bomber Squadron shortly before the group became part of the IUN’s peacekeeping mission to Estovakia in 2016.  At the recommendation of her AWACS operator, she would be moved to Doki Squadron where she befriended Captain Riegel and Lieutenant Sasaki—prior to Lieutenant Gushiken’s arrival, her callsign was Doki Three.

A patriotic Yuktobanian, Kuroyanagi always prefers to bring her home country’s aircraft to sorties—a Typhoon was gifted to her by Lieutenant Gushiken prior to the Lighthouse War, but the young pilot later opted to keep the prized plane in storage in case of emergencies.  Lieutenant Kuroyanagi also exhibits an odd fixation for advanced weaponry, and has been seen behaving unusually whenever in the presence of an active PLSL module; with her latest plane now finally PLSL-compatible, Captain Riegel has preemptively arranged for a constant supply of the next-gen munitions for the lieutenant to use at her discretion.

Yuri’s family name is a shoutout to ♡Just Art♡.
