(DEPRECATED) Ace Combat 7 - Know Your Enemy

They say that to know one's enemy and ally alike is a principal element of warfare. In this regard, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown can be said to be lacking. In many cases, named enemies are simply not called out on the HUD, or are named very vaguely. An example of this are the Sigurd and Glamrock Squadrons in SP Mission 01: Unexpected Visitor, which receive fully unique voice acting, custom subtitles, and everything, yet are not marked on the HUD as SIGURD or GLAMROCK.

They also say to be the change you want to see in the world.

Know Your Enemy (KYE) is the solution.

An ambitious mod that overhauls the HUD's target box tags for ally and enemy alike to both add and alter, KYE will change the Ace Combat 7 experience for the better.

This mod is no longer being updated, as its contents have been folded into the Skies Restored project. Nevertheless, this earlier version will remain up for download if you prefer it.

This mod is modular, to allow people to use the HUD tags they want to.

Files labeled with the prefix of EX (e.g. KYE-EX Enemy Aircraft_P.pak) require the DLC missions to be seen.

KNOWN BUGS:

Arsenal Bird JOINT, HOOK, and APS UNIT do not have the ARSENAL BIRD tag.

This mod's changes are INCOMPATIBLE with xBlazededge's Alicorn Special Raid mods.
