Fishing quality-of-life for Abiotic Factor

Fishing is relaxing the first hundred times. Angler's Toolkit is for every time after that: skip the reeling, let it recast for you, and see exactly what the water holds before you cast.

Main features

Instant Catch

Skips the reeling minigame. The moment it starts, your bait is used and the catch lands, with rewards rolled by the game's normal logic. Starts off each session, so press F5 when you want it.

Auto Fishing

Keeps casting while you hold a rod and look at water. Go make a coffee. Turns Instant Catch on for you, and stops as soon as Instant Catch is turned off.

Options: cast power (short to full) and the delay between a catch and the next cast.

Loot Panel

An on-screen list of everything you can catch in the water you're aiming at or fishing in, with odds. It accounts for:

  []the time of day[/]

  []fish you haven't unlocked yet (hidden)[/]

  []buffs like Mud Waders (junk only)[/]

By default the panel only shows while you're sitting on a Tacklebox, which gives the chair a job again now that Instant Catch skips the minigame its bonus was for. You can turn this off in the config.

Camera Fix

Stops the small upward camera jerk the game applies every time a catch is pulled out.

Installation

1. Install UE4SS for Abiotic Factor.

2. Extract the AnglersToolkit folder into:

AbioticFactor\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\

3. Launch the game.

Updating: extract the new version over the old one. Your settings are kept.

Uninstalling: delete the AnglersToolkit folder.

Configuration

All settings are in AnglersToolkit\Scripts\config.lua, which is created the first time you launch the game with the mod. Mod updates never overwrite it, and changes apply the next time you start the game.

    []Don't run it alongside another instant-fishing mod, since both would try to finish the same catch.[/]

    Bug reports

    Post in the Bugs tab with your UE4SS.log (in AbioticFactor\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\). If you can reproduce the problem, set DebugMode = true in config.lua first.
