📋 About This Mod
Parachute from the sky or from buildings!
Locked behind Armor Crafting Skill Level 50.
Mod is required client and server side for MP.
FYI: Multiplayer is barely tested!
EAC must be off!
Parachute Backpack Chest Mod
Once the recipes are unlocked you want to craft the
Parachute Backpack Mod to install into your Chest Armor.
Only then will you be able to use the deployable parachutes!
Deployable Parachute Item
Each use of the Parachute will consume the deployable item.
Equip them in your Hot-bar to deploy once you are airborne.
You can build them in the Workbench. But they are not exactly
cheap, as they require Military Fibers. So to produce them in masses
you will want to unlock the chem-station recipe for military fibers.
Further Notes
You can still break your legs if you land too hard. Meaning
either too fast or on a very hard surface (both factors apply).
You can steer the gliding and descending slightly.
Also works nicely with my No Sudden Exit mod!
Further considerations
I'm thinking about removing the "OH Shitz Drops" altogether
with this mod in future versions, as it makes the parachute
somewhat obsolete. It's certainly much more fun to skydive
and parachute from the sky :-) Or what do you think?
