📋 About This Mod

Due to some health issues I have been facing lately, I don't have the time or energy to update this mod for now. If you have an issue with this mod and you are looking for a replacement, consider using rcfmartin's similar mod here. I will leave this mod up as there are thousands of people still using it, so I want to keep the files available for them.

Description

This mod was built from the ground up utilizing previous mods as inspiration, this is not a rework of an older mod. All code included in the mod is brand new.

Craft From Containers allows players to craft using materials stored in nearby containers without first moving those materials into their backpack. Nearby stored items are included in recipe availability calculations, displayed correctly in the crafting interface, and removed directly from the appropriate containers when crafting begins.

Installation instructions

  • []Close 7 Days to Die if it's open.[/]

    []Download and extract the archive.[/]

[]Place the included CraftFromContainersV3. 0 folder inside your game’s Mods folder.[/]

Your final installation path should look like:

7 Days To Die\Mods\CraftFromContainersV3. 0\ModInfo.xml

7 Days To Die\Mods\CraftFromContainersV3. 0\config.json

7 Days To Die\Mods\CraftFromContainersV3. 0\CraftFromContainers.dllLaunch the game with Easy Anti-Cheat disabled.

Leave the game-provided 0_TFP_Harmony mod installed. If you remove this, this mod and most others will fail.

If you are missing the 0_TFP_Harmony Mod folder you need to verify the integrity of game files on steam

Configuration options can be changed by editing config.json, see the Configuration section below for detail if needed.

To uninstall the mod, delete the CraftFromContainers folder from your Mods directory. Removing the mod does not move, delete, or alter items stored inside containers, and it doesn't impact your save in any way.
